Determine and summarize workers’ experiences by utilizing Interactive Talks. Categorize these experiences by conditions of work and company policies, programs, and practices.
Step 2 begins by utilizing Interactive Talks, which are 15-minute meetings with workers that use open-ended questions to determine workers’ experiences. Interactive Talks are most successful when the facilitator asks questions and provides opportunities for participants to share their perspectives and opinions.
The Champion(s) and those facilitating the Interactive Talks will complete the Interactive Talks Training.
The Interactive Talks Guide prepares facilitators and note takers.
After the talks are completed, the comments are analyzed and organized by the Analysis Team. This process is outlined in the Analyzing Comments Guide and is best done within two weeks of the Interactive Talk.
Use the Report Template to summarize the workers’ comments shared during the Interactive Talks and written on Comment Cards – note what is going well in addition to areas for improvement. This report will be presented to the Steering Committee.
Visit the Survey page to learn how to use worker surveys to support your Interactive Talks.
